Revox Pr99 Manual Download
Posted in:admin
Hi all, I've started a service operation on my Revox PR99 MkIII. Can anyone of you knowledgeable guys help me out here. In the manual it states the first setting is 1kHz at the desired recording level or 0VU. This is measured from the monitor connecting pin 3 or 5 and pin 2 ground. First question: where the hell are these pins? I would have thought that I just need to connect a signal generator to the channel 1/2 inputs and adjust accordingly. There is no indication in the manual where the pins are.
Second question: These are settings with the 'Uncal' button released. As mine is a Line/Line Out model there are no 'Uncal' buttons or knobs.
All level adjustments are made at the mixer. Do I need any alternative settings or should I just stick to the manual? Sorry if some of this is dumb but I've not do one of these before. My Teac and Tascams manuals are more user friendly. Cheers all, Mike. Hi guys, thanks so much.

That info has helped a lot. (Jan) I only have the Operating Instructions which gives a rather brief outline of how to set up. Torrent Program Indir Türkçe here.
To be honest. My other Revox's do not have the extra sockets (are they DIN?) so it didn't enter my head to look at them on the PR99.
I will have to try and find the full service manual online later. One further question. I have a 185nWb calibration tape. Heroes Of Might And Magic Cheats more. Can I use it for the PR99 or should I get a 250nWb?
Cheers again, Mike You can use a 185nWb/m reference tape by calculating the corresponding levels to use - on page6 of this publication, there is a explanation You can download the service manual from Studer.ch here And yes - those connectors are called DIN plugs. I've spent today calibrating my PR99 and have to say I've very happy with results (so far). I have one question that I am slightly confused.
In the instructions regarding the Adjustment of VU Meter and PEAK INDICATOR LED. The final instruction is to Adjust the LINE OUTPUT LEVEL potentiometer to the desired operating level. On my machine the Output Level trimmers appear to have no effect at all. I'm wondering is that because they are not connected to anything. The machine is a LINE IN/OUT VERSION. All adjustments to input and output are made on the mixing desk. Or am I missing something?
Cheers, Mike.
