I couldn't install PhotoDraw V2, so I guess I got out of the box, so to speak. I'm a biochemist--what do I know?;-) I put the disc for PhotoDraw V2 in the DVD drive (H:). Then I went into the Windows 10 equivalent of Windows Explorer (I just got the computer loaded with Windows 10 today;-)), looked in FFiles on Drive H, then MS Office, then Office then hit the PhotoDraw application icon. I also created a desktop shortcut for this icon. PhotoDraw worked perfectly on one of the photos on my computer, and I could print out the photo. So--no more hassle. Were you able to previously run PhotoDraw 2000 on a computer with Office 2002 installed? The reason I ask is that I upgraded a computer from Office 2000 Pro to Office 2003 a while ago.

The installer said that some Office 2000 components would no longer work with 2003 and would all be removed in order to install any of Office 2003. You may may find yourself in a similar situation with trying to install or run PhotoDraw 2000 on top of other Office 2002 applications. Maybe after an office update or another event, I was then and still am prompted to enter my 1st disc, The application is looking for file/files from the installation disc.

It actually works in a VERY limited capacity now. If I click OK at each prompt to enter CD the application starts, but I can't save anything to JPEG - saves Bitmaps and.mix (photodrae file) and a lot of actions within the application - like paste / cut etc prompt for the disc again. Who knows, maybe after a windows update it's just needs root files to verify.
