I did some research into this, and found that at an offset of 0x48 from the MBR, there is some sort of serial number. I changed this, restarted computer, yet there was no update to my serial numbers. The serial number I would like to change can be listed when I enter 'wmic diskdrive get serialnumber' into an administrator session of command prompt. Keep in mind this is not 'WMIC BIOS GET SERIALNUMBER'. I am wondering how I can change these values, as they should be stored somewhere on the hard drive. I can program C++, therefore manually writing should not be an issue.
